Stockton Beach although 4wd is the preferable
method of transport on this huge beach, their is access
for walking up on Anna Bay End, this is a extremely large
beach which will take you nearly right back to Newcastle
itself, and along the way a ship wreck called 'the Sigma'
is visible from the beach (4wd access to view the wreck
is needed) their are cost related activities on the beach,
these include: Horse riding, 4wd trails, 4 wheeled trikes,
boarding down the huge sand dunes, not to mention the
amount of pipies that are found on the beach for the fisherman
to use while he/she is fishing.

Nobbys Beach and Newcastle Beach are
a short walk from each other, while Bar Beach, Dixon Beach
and Merewether Beach are also a stones through from each
other on the same stretch of beach.

Vineyards, this is self expletory some
100+ wineries where you can sample or taste test wines,
very popular with all persons in the Newcastle area.

Barrington Tops. Mountain up very high,
1.5 hours away.

Lake Macquarie. Big salt water lake with
plenty of fish and a few beaches.

Central Coast. It is like heaven on
earth.
